Our Beers

Harbor Ale
Essentially a American Pale Ale with a twist. Brewed with 50% wheat malt to provide a smooth and subtly sweet base to showcase the Amarillo hop and all its orangey citrus glory. abv 5.3%.
Anti-Freeze
Malt forward, full bodied, deep red, with just enough hop balance. Inspired by some of our favorite English Olde Ales. Brewed a bit strong for sustenance and warmth on those cold winter nights. abv 6.9%
Disorient IPA
This American style India Pale Ale features three of the finest American ‘C’ hops: Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade. Bold hoppiness is offset with notes of caramel sweetness from crystal malt. abv 6.2%
Hopnami
Wave after wave of 4 kinds of hops, balanced with just enough malt and a splash of honey make this Double IPA extremely rideable. Watch out! abv 9.3%.
Summer Ale
A golden summer ale that we infuse with Orange Blossom Honey. The honey is added post fermentation to add a distinctively floral and sweet finish.
Black Duck Porter
A black ale that puts the flavor of the malt front and center. It has a mild hop character that balances strong notes of cocoa and hints of coffee. A full-bodied roasty treat that finishes dry. Pairs well with chocolate, BBQ, as well as fresh shellfish. abv 4.7%.
Canard Noir
Identical in malt and hops to Black Duck Porter, Canard Noir is roasty at it foundation. The addition of French Saison yeast transforms the beer. While recognizable as the original, the dry and pepper-like spiciness and tropical fruitiness of the Farmhouse yeast turn the beer into something truly special. What started as a variation on an existing beer emerges as something completely new. abv 4.7%.
Leaf Pile Ale
An autumn ale which brings you a slice of pumpkin pie in a glass. Fresh whole ginger, cinnamon, all spice, and nutmeg gives this ale its distinct character. Fall in. abv 5.2%
Havre Rouge
The unique Belgian yeast strain used to ferment this beer adds a complex spiciness and a mild fruitiness. The wonderful aroma of hops peaks through as well in this amber belgian/american pale ale.
Triton
In greek mythology Triton, the messenger of the sea, had the power to raise or calm the waves. Our barley wine may not be quite that strong but huge quantities of Maris Otter and Crystal malts and Chinook, Columbus, and Golding hops could have some people thinking they can. Extremely limited, only 30 bbls brewed. abv 9.5%.
Weesh’d Scotch Ale
Scottish slang for shush or quiet which is what you will be while drinking this hearty brown ale with hints of molasses, caramel and roasted malt. Just enough hop bitterness to balance nearly overwhelming malt richness. 7.9% ABV
#2 (Anniversary Lager)
In celebration of Greenport Harbor Brewing Co’s second anniversary, we reached back to the origins of our craft in the United States and brewed the original American craft beer. Brewing our Anniversary #2: California Common Lager is not only a shift away from the perfumed Belgian-style blond ale that we brewed in celebration of our first anniversary, it is a shift toward the brewing tradition which we are proud to be a part. Brewed with Briess malts from our nation’s Heartland, hops from the Pacific Northwest, yeast from San Francisco, in our tiny brewery on the East End of Long Island, this hoppy golden-amber lager captures the essence of what drew us all to craft beer. Balanced, yet distinctive, we hope you enjoy this, and our other offerings, as much as we enjoy brewing them (if not there’s always Anniversary #3 next year). ABV. 6.2%
PROJECT HOPPINESS
Greenport Harbor Brewing Company’s project to explore the world of humulus lupulus, the common hop. An ever changing variety of hop-forward ales will excite your taste buds with new experiences, none quite like the last, bringing forth happiness through hoppiness.
Black IPA
The beer that introduced “Project Hoppiness”. This distinctly American style ale is full of fruity, citrusy hop character. A blend of bold hop varieties: Warrior, Citra, and Columbus bring an amazing, bright hop flavor and powerful aroma. The malt bill includes a charge of black malt to give a deep, dark color without the roastiness often associated with ales of this hue.
Belgian IPA
Our second Project Hoppiness selection adds a Belgian twist to an American favorite. It will be brewed with a blend of North American pilsner, wheat, and Caramel Vienna malts. The hop mix is from both sides of the Atlantic – Magnum, Golding, and Glacier. The floral qualities of these varieties meld with the distinctive spicy notes of a classic Belgian Abbey yeast strain, adding a complexity not often seen in your standard IPA.
Ahtamatic IPA
Our third Project Hoppiness offering brings back an old favorite, with a twist. The newest IPA in the series is essentially Disorient IPA brewed with healthy doses of Ahtanum hops. With a flavor profile somewhere between Cascade and Amarillo hops, the Ahtanum hop makes a perfect addition to the blend of… Centennial and Columbus hops we borrowed from the original recipe. Similar to Disorient IPA, Project Hoppiness: Ahtamatic IPA is defined by a bold, yet balanced hoppiness that is offset with notes of subtle malt sweetness.
English IPA
Project Hoppiness IV/English-Style IPA: Brewed with all English pale and light crystal malts, Target and Kent Goldings hops, the fourth beer in our Project Hoppiness series is full of the earthy, herbal character that defines a more British style of pale ale. Referencing the origins of the hoppy beers we all love, this hazy, golden ale was conceived as a refreshing alternative to the hop bombs that tend to dominate the market. Left in its natural, unfiltered state as a nod to the past and to retain more of the nuanced English hop flavors and aromas.
Citrus IPA
The 5th beer in the Project Hoppiness series is brewed with Pale and Cara Malts, centennial and magnum hops and whole oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and tangelos. Citrus fruits were added to both the mash and boil to add citrus flavor, aroma and bitterness. Although no bittering hops were used, the beer is plenty bitter, thanks to the whole citrus fruit.
Other Side IPA
Project Hoppiness 6: Other Side IPA is certainly hop-forward – as it should be, with nearly 3 lbs of hops per bbl – it’s also well balanced. A blend of North American pale, light Munich, light crystal, and carapils malts provide a light malty backbone to balance additions of Warrior, Centennial, and Cascade hops in the kettle and of Centennial, Cascade and Chinook hops in the fermenter. Hoppy yet balanced, our 6th Project Hoppiness offering is our nod to the beers we love from the other coast.
Chinook’red
An American Red ale brewed exclusively with Chinook hops. Pale and crystal malts supply a reddish hue and malty background from which fruity hop flavors and aromas rise. Our 7th release in the Project Hoppiness series.
